Welcome to Teresa's Faith Journey

I recently received a diagnosis of cancer, that word that none of us want to hear, but it doesn't have to strike fear in our heart and mind. I am so blessed to have a strong suppor system- a loving family, supportive friends, a faithful church family, and an army of prayer warriors. I don't fight this battle alone, in fact, I don't fight it at all! In Exodus 14:14 I am told that God will fight the battle for me, and I just need to stay still. This diagnosis doesn't surprise or scare God, He has a plan to work everything that comes into my life for good when I get out of the way, trust Him and obey. So, don't worry my friends, pray, watch, and wait! Our loving and mighty God is at work! I'll keep you updated and take you through this faith journey with me. I meet my doctor and start further testing at MD Anderson on Monday, January 27, 2025. Having this appointment 25 days after the diagnosis already shows me that God is at work!
